March 1st brings the full moon in Virgo 9 degrees.. . Full moons are a profound time for group meditation. Because it brings a culmination of affairs to the fore front look to your horoscope to see what is highlighted for you... Which house (sphere) is sensitive to this full moon illumination? Does the full moon conjoin or oppose a planet in your horoscope.? It opposes the sun at 9 degrees of Pisces so if the full moon is emphasised in your horoscope ponder areas ready for awareness or integration.
Have you reneged upon your New Year resolutions ..? Well you have another chance to make reparation because Pisces is the last sign of the year before the true spiritual year starts in Aries. Pisces is also the last sign of the zodiac.
The outer ‘new year’ on January 1st is during Capricorn, the sign of achievement and finality, so that is a good time to make those resolutions. Yet the inner ‘new year’ of Aries is preceded by Pisces, a sign that gives access to forces that help break down the old to prepare for the new. This occurs partly through Pisces ruler Neptune who dissolves the past, but also through esoteric ruler Pluto, who transforms ‘resolve’ into ‘resolution’.
March 11th 3.08am (EST) sees Mars go direct at 1 degree Leo after its near 3 month retro phase... In a sense at the moment we are reliving the shadow phase of when Mars was at 1 degree Leo last October19th. Energy will now be freed up and a lot of us will be picking up our plans with more realistic goals after our sojourn into underground where the battle raged between our unconscious self and conscious Self. The full realization of this process will be apparent come May 17th when Mars returns to the retro degree of 19 degrees Leo.
March 16th brings the new moon in Pisces at 25 degrees.. ..look to see where the new moon falls in your horoscope to get an idea where the energy will be focused for the coming month. Remembering this is a 2 week period before the full moon to set goals and motivate oneself outwardly to achieve ones aims. Look to see whether the new moon conjoins or opposes a planet because this will determine the feel of the months ahead; eg: Saturn would add a sombre note as Jupiter would add a rich enthusiastic feel to the month. This new moon in Pisces could indicate where it is necessary to let go and dissolve old attachments, addictions or mind sets....Is also conjunct Uranus which can give us the necessary detachment to re-organise our lives in the area where this new moon falls and the opposite house as well. . New moons are a profound time for group meditation and especially so this month with this conjunction.
Venus enters Aries on the 7th March– Mercury enters Aries on the 18th March. The Sun enters Aries on the 21st March which is the vernal equinox or the beginning of the natural new year – which is Spring for the northern hemisphere and Autumn for the southern hemisphere.
With all this energy in Aries and with Mars going direct (Mars rules Aries) expect a lot of activity and or initiation of ideas.
